I enjoyed the video very much. I was disappointed however with the amount of spanish that was spoken in relation the Euskara. The sculptor/painter was especially offensive.That being said, it was a great look at basque culture. I hope to see more in the near future.
Thanks Keith. Nestor Basterretxea was prohibited from learning Basque as a child. Many people of his generation never learned as Iker the teacher explained because it was punishable by death. I'm sorry that offends you, but it is the truth of the situation in the Basque Country. Thankfully the Basque people have been able to hold on to the language and it's use is growing.
